At Tararua Treasures & Treats, we want our customers to shop with confidence. Please read our Returns & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our business, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit for change of mind purchases. Please choose carefully before completing your order.

Pre-Loved & Second-Hand Items

Many of our products are pre-loved, vintage, or second-hand. We do our best to accurately describe and photograph each item, including any flaws, wear, or imperfections.

Minor signs of wear consistent with age and previous use are not considered faults and are not grounds for a refund.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Faulty
  • Significantly different from its description
  • Damaged during transit
  • Incorrectly supplied

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

To assist with your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging (where applicable)

Once reviewed, we may offer:

  • A replacement (where available)
  • Store credit
  • A refund

Damaged Parcels

Any parcel that arrives damaged must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Photos of the damaged packaging and item are required to lodge a claim with the courier company. Claims submitted outside this timeframe may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

If a return is approved due to a fault, damage, or an error on our part, we will advise on the return process and any applicable shipping reimbursement.

If a return is approved for any other reason, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Please allow 3–10 business days for refunds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
